Question about Logitech Cordless Mouse

1 Answer

When my computer awakes from sleep mode my Logitech cordless mouse will not respond. I can get it to work only by opening it and removing and reinstalling one of the batteries. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium. Can you help.?

I already tried that and it does the same thing with brand-new batteries. Any other thoughts?

I'm afraid I have no idea how to "update the video drivers" (or even what that means, actually). I do know how to access the power plan on the power options, but what would I change it to?

Hello; recently bought a Logitech M305 cordless mouse. My notebook system: msi cx620mx; Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium. Mouse works normally without any problems. Exception: after hibernation / sleeping,...

Ths problem occurs because of usb drvier conflict issue with your usb wireless dongle driver. For that go to device manager uninstall all usb drivers then it will automatic install all driver. Then go to control panel->add remove program and features then uninstall your wireleless keyboard and mouse driver then reinstall. Then restart and check. Also try different usb ports of computer for connecting the usb wireless dongle of keyboard. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

Keyboard works but Mouse does not respond

Restore your computer through a Restore Point. Choose "Start"in the lower left hand of the screen and look for system tools after that just follow the step shown.

Mouse V450 shipped with new Dell Desk top does not work reliably

It should be good up to 30 feet, whatever the setup. You might try plugging the send/receiver into a front port to see if that helps.

I usually open Device Manager, open each USB device and set the power to stay on, (not "turn off this device to save power"). That way, sleep mode won't cause you to lose contact with the mouse. Or just disable sleep mode.
