Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

They didn't do a good job with differentiating these ones. Easiest way to tell is by the color.

SOURCE: I need help on installing logitech quickcam v-ugb35 with windows 7 Ult

If your windows 7 system is set up as 32 bit instead of 64, that's why it doesn't work. according to the logitech website that camera will only work with windows 7 in 64 bit mode...otherwise it won't.

A Driver please?

Wondering if you have been to the Logitech webcam support site to download the windows drivers.

Please select the model of the webcam and click on the download tab on the page. Normally there will be only one driver for Windows 7. But if there is a specific 64 bit driver for your model of webcam then that will show up in the download file selection. Good luck. Product Support Software Downloads Webcams Logitech

The information I have gathered says that there are drivers available for the Windows 7 operating system. Check out this link. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support-downloads/downloads Just select webcam under "Select Product Type" and then in the second dropdown menu choose your webcam. Then click on "Downloads" and use the "Choose OS" dropdown to download the windows 7 driver.

If you have misplaced the software, then this will be more difficult then necessary. What you need to do is go to the Logitech website www.logitech.com/ Look for the download, it should be there. when you find it, make sure that you specify windows 7. If it's no there, download the newest version. Hop I helped. I not, tell me and I will look in to your problem with more detail. My e mail is grandpasnail@live.ca.

I changed my os to window 7 and my webcam is not working at all.

Unfortunately Logitech do not support Windows 7 for older products - You can try downloading software and running the cam in Compatibility Mode
Visit the Logitech website and browse the photo gallery for your model and click on the photo to navigate to the support page.
Note - Older models on page 2 - look for the link at the bottom right of page 1 and click on it "Still can't find your product?"

In addition to the Logitech installer you will need to run the support software - Microsoft DirectX . This comes pre-loaded on most Windows computers but has to be updated - I am currently on version 11
To start the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, click Start, click Run, type dxdiag in the Open box, and then click OK.

Procedure to re-install Logitech software
Close all programs while uninstalling - downloading and uploading software
Disconnect your webcam
Uninstall the current webcam software on your computer
Restart computer
Download the Installation package from Logitech
Run the installer and choose your options during the installation - You may not want Logitech Chat but the Desktop icon for the webcam toolbar is a must.
Connect your webcam when prompted.

Right click on the webcam icon on your desktop or the webcam file from 'All Programs' - select 'Properties'
Select the 'Compatibility' tab
Select 'Compatibility Mode'
Use the dropbox to show the OS you have successfully used before
Click OK
Restart your computer
