Question about Audio Players & Recorders

My M&S Systems model MC350A central intercom and radio system in my home is malfunctioning. The LED displays the word "LIST". The word "list" is not mentioned once in the Owner's Manual. I turned off the power to the unit overnight in an effort to reset the system, to no avail. What else can I do?

When I pressed the up, 2, and Display buttons simultaneously, releasing the display button first, the LED displays a 5. By the way, I disconnected all of the speaker wires before this process. I turned off the circuit breaker for 30 seconds to reset and the LED display now shos LIST again. Any other ideas?

    Still nothing.

My M&S Systems MC350A control unit has "LIST" showing on the LCD display. I have disconnected all speakers from the unit and depressed UP, 2, & Display as the owners manual says. Now it has "5" showing on the LCD display. I have tried turning off power overnight with the same results. Any other ideas?

The secret to getting my system to work again was to disconnect the BLACK speaker wires. I had disconnected the GREEN speaker wiresfrom the individual posts. Once the bad BLACK speaker wire was identified (and disconnected)the system works fine. I suspect the "DOOR/TALK" module is bad because I get "LIST" in the LCD display when depressed. That's OK because we never use that feature anyway. Thanks again for your help.

Hello mwalton459.

There could be two problems with the word display 'List'. First, it can be one of the speakers that is causing this problem. So,you have to disconnect the bundle of black wires at the back of the master. Make sure sure that you've disconnect the separate patio black (if you have one).
If that solves the 'List' problem, I would suggest you to hook them up one at a time until you find the bad speaker.

Second, it can be that you have a bad talk/listen switch on the master which could cause the problem or you could have them both.

Hope it helps.

Press and hold UP, 2, and DISPLAY buttons simultaneously then release the DISPLAY button first. The display will show "TEST" or "000o" then turn the circuit breaker off where the MC350A is connected for 15 seconds to properly reset it and the display will blink 12:00.

Repeat the pressing of the given buttons then when the 5 is displayed press the TIME/AUTO SET button then try adjust the if possible. Press TIME/AUTO SET button again when the proper time is set. Do not unplug it after that.

A button or switch may have shorted in the master unit; slide the switches back and forth to remove any possible short circuit and repeatedly press each button then observe any possible stuck button and unstuck it. Make sure also to disconnect every speaker connected.

Grab a volt-ohmmeter, set it to the R X 1 scale, and check the resistance between the terminals where the speakers are connected to. There should be no short circuit (zero resistance) between the speaker output terminals. Have it serviced by a qualified technician if all else fails; electronic components may have failed internally.

The reason why I suggested resistance check of all the speaker is to eliminate a possible short circuit that cause the trouble. I

SOURCE: M&S Systems, #MC350A, central intercom system, malfunctioning

I'm having the same problem. I think LIST means it is in LISTen mode, listening to the outside door station. Why it is doing that is unclear.

Reset M&S mc350a?

In this case, it is best to disconnect all room stations from the system. This can help determine if a room station is causing the issue or if it is a bad master unit. Once the room stations are disconnected, go back and try to set the clock, turn on radio, etc. If the problem is still happening, it is a defective master. If the problem has stopped, try adding back wiring while continuing to test the system.

Hi, im looking for a original price for Evesham Navigation model: 7211, or where can i find the price list. Thanks

Don't make the assumption that GPS navigation systems are all expensive - the Evesham Nav-Cam 7700 device is one of the cheapest ones available, retailing for $160 with a $5 shipping fee. The specifications (available after the jump) might not amount to much, but if you're looking for a basic GPS system without the frills of MP3 and video playback, the Nav-Cam 7700 offers value for money in theory. After all, you already have your iPod for all your multimedia needs, so why purchase a device with redundant functions?
• Processor: Centrality Atlas II 300MHz

Hi there,

Well it's not mainly the radio problem the problem occurs due to bad signals, anyway you can try a bigger antenna.
