The battery is completely charged, but the camera will not turn on. Do you think it is the battery or an internal problem?

It looks like a camera problem. You could try a little trick though, polish the contacts on the battery and try the same on the battery contacts inside the camera.

Its probably a camera problem.

But you could try a little trick, polish the battery contacts with a clean dry cloth. Try the same with the contacts inside the camera, possibly a cotton bud job this. I can't say it will work but worth a try.

Gopro charging problems flashing

GoPro battery dead. Won't charge in the camera. No charge light comes on when you connect the camera to a USB. There's the scenario. Good tip on the GoPro battery shocking technique posted by Rabscuttle above. I discovered that my vehicle USB cigarette lighter adapter drains the GoPro battery when it's turned off. With the GoPro battery completely dead, the camera will not charge it. If the GoPro battery voltage falls below a certain point, the camera's circuitry is set to turn off the internal charger as if there's no battery in the camera at all. The recommended solution is to buy an external charger, which is able to charge a completely dead battery. The battery shocking method saves that expense.

Connecting a 9 volt battery to the GoPro battery for 30 seconds can give the battery enough charge to allow the camera to recognize the battery. A 9 volt battery from a smoke detector, a pair of jumper leads, and two straight pins is what I used to get my GoPro battery charged enough to allow the camera to recognize the battery and begin charging.

My canon camera ixus 100is wont turn on and have fully charged battery need help getting it going my daughter goes on holiday on friday

it s probably the the camera have receive a pressure or is fall down??
problem can be different. the contact dont touch exactly on the batterie. prove to clean the internal contact with a cotton stik and alcohol. if you dont solve the problem. i think that the problem are serious. can be in the lens if the camera turn on and turn out immediately if the camera dont turn on completly the problem can be in the motherboard of the camera. prove if you have a friend with another batterie. its possible that the problem is in the batterie countact. but i hope that you are lucky..why mostly the problem is internal the camera. i am sorry.
sorry for my english

Green light comes on but camera dosent stay on

two possibilities  1)either the battery is internally got drained as it shows that it has charged but due to drained its exactly not getting completely charged.its a most possible problem.so needs the battery replacement. 2)if not the battery then the connectors of metal in the socket where the battery is inserted that connector is got faulty so it needs resoldered internally with the help of soldering iron.

Sony DSC-W150 power on keeps going to set date/time

The date and time settings are displayed after turning on the camera. Solution
sp.gif sp.gif It is normal for the camera to lose time and date settings if the internal battery is left uncharged for an extended period of time; some cameras will default to the time-setting screen when turned on if this happens. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.
  1. Turn off the camera.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Insert a fully-charged battery pack into the camera.
    • If the camera is supplied with an AC power adapter, plug the adapter into a working electrical outlet and then connect it to the camera.
  3. Allow the internal battery that retains the time and date information to charge for at least 90 minutes.
  4. After enough time has elapsed to sufficiently charge the internal battery, turn on the camera.
  5. Set the time and date.
  6. Turn off the camera for 30 seconds.
  7. Turn on the camera again.
  8. Check to see if the date and time have been saved.
The troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If you have completed all of the steps and the issue is not resolved, service may be required. The Sony® eService Web site at http://eservice.sony.com/ can assist you in obtaining service from a Sony Service Center or locating a Sony Authorized Servicer.

My pentax digital camera is charged but when i switch it on it shuts down after a few seconds

How old is the Camera ?
Do you do a complete discharge prior to charging ?
Is it Li-ion...

1 - Battery may be sitting on an internal memory from 'charge point' - Try and discharge completely..
2 - Your battery has had its day, and will not retain power (mAh)
