Question about Yamaha RX-V595A Receiver
My RX-V595 AV Receiver switched off and wont switch back on Doug
You need to take it to the nearest yamaha service centre. Unit could have had a surge or blown a fuse.

If it's only an analog source doing it I would suspect a bad switch contact somewhere in the signal path. Typically, it might be a switch you rarely use, like a Tape Monitor or Mute. It's wise to occasionally (with power OFF) manipulate all manual controls throughput their ranges a number of times to wipe oxides from their contacts.
