Tip

Who cares Wimax, 3g. You wan't 4G and here is why

I've noticed salesman for clearwireless relay on the 10% of 10% rule, So i'm going to tell you why 4G wirless with wimax is key for you future hub.

-24mb download and 3mb upload currently, however there is no bandwidth cap (att and com cap at 18mb)

-Mobile and or shared through a single reciver router setup that can serve 30 people at one time depending on your router, and not slow down

-Goverment mandates all cellphone and wireless waves that fall between a certain wav length are taxed up to 22% for airtime usage. Channels 1 throught 11 are used. Clear is based on wimax 802.1eeM technology, aka they are setting a goal for a single user to be able to have 1GB download and 100mb upload (at this speed, blue ray and internet TV is a reality and not a question of is bandwith a commodity (damn iphones) channels 12 and up do not fall in that range, therefore, you are not taxed. Enjoy it before it becomes the standard.

Running 64 with new PC, can't download deskweather from weather.com, anyone know fix other similar program

The weather channel desktop program does not currently support 64bit operating systems.

You may want to try "Weather Watcher Live" which offers a 64bit version and can be downloaded here.

I updated a friends Vista PC to SP2 and now her SPrint Wireless card does not work. Its asking for a data interface disk. What is this

The installation program is not completing the install with the necessary drivers.

The fix: you must extract all the files from Sprint's .MSI installation file. I downloaded a free utility called Lessmsierables-20050611.zip by searching for an MSI extractor. It will allow you to right click the MSI file and extract all of the files to a folder.

After extracting all of the files, I inserted my Aircard 580 and the Data Interface box came up again. Point the driver installation to the folder you extracted and presto, it will install both of the Data Interface drivers (which are Aircard 580 drivers)

I have a Toshiba Satellite notebook with Vista Home and NAV 360 and recently purchased a Sierra Wireless Mobile Broadband USB modem T-Stick D597. When I try to install the T-Stick, I keep getting an error...

You might want to disable the WiFi that is built into your laptop before installing that device. It is very possible that the built in WiFi is conflicting with that Wireless Broadband Device.
