Question about Dell Inspiron 546 MT PC Desktop
It probably didn't come with a network adapter. Most desktop system don't unless someone did a custom configuration from dell. The easiest way you could check though would be to put the service tag information in at dell's website then click on the tab that says "original configuration" this will give you all the information regarding the hardware that was installed when dell shipped the system.
