Question about GPS
I think your best bet here would be to perform a hard reset on your unit.
Without the information of what kind of GPS you have, I can't give you specifics on how to do this. Usually the easiest way (and one that works almost EVERY time) is simply remove the batteries for 30 minutes or so.
BEWARE! This will generally erase any waypoint/route you have stored and will almost always require you to initialize the GPS again.
