I'm not sure what keyboard you have but there should be an "Fn mode", "Mode" or similar button on your keyboard, it should be the same color as the function icons on your other keys. This is usually used to toggle between the different modes. If this doesn't work or only works while your holding it down then you'll need to find the setting software for your keyboard. It's most likely in with your other programs or in Control Panel, some will put an icon in your task tray that you can double click or right click to access them.

Certain letter keys give me numbers instead of the letter on my verbatim wireless keyboard and mouse

Sounds like NUMlock, or another function key like that. Are those numbers on the keys themselves? That's a common problem for laptop keyboards that do not have number pads.

Left side of keyboard 123456789 is not working

Do you mean the right side of the keyboard is typing numbers instead of letters?
If so, you have enabled the NumLk which turns the RHS of the keyboard into the number pad.
Press the NumLk key near F11, F12 function key and the NumLk LED will switch off and return your RH keys back to letters.

Wireless capability won't turn on

Make sure you Press and Hold the FN function key then hit the F2 key.

Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look on both sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.

Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can toggle the wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function key located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will display Wireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

Some laptops might have a wireless button instead of a wireless switch located above the keyboard or on the front or sides.

How do i use the print screen feature on my 1.0a keyboard

This Microsoft keyboard has an "F Lock" key. This key toggled will get you access to general functions such as Undo, Redo, New, Open, and Close, as well as email specific functions like Reply, Fwd, and Send.

You may have to also use the function key (f/lock key)
together with the PRNT/Screen key for it to work correctly

My computer keyboard is typing numbers instead of letters.. any suggestions on how to fix it

This is because most notebook keyboards have a number pad incorporated into the right-hand side of the keyboard. Numbers are being typed because the NumLock is active.
To disable this function press the NumLock key (might be marked NumLock or have a symbol that looks like a calculator on it) on the keyboard (you might need to press the Fn function key and the NumLock simultaneously).

Asus a6 laptop keyboard problem

your number lock is on. Since there is not enough room on a laptop for the right hand number pad you find on many desktop keyboards, they incorporate it into the text keyboard. Generally there is a key in the upper right side to toggle the number lock, also if you enter the bios mode and check that number lock is not enabled on boot.
