Will this solve the problem? Help!

Hey guys my JVC Camcorder wont record anything or playback, just the blue screen. When it started doing that i havent even had the camera for a year. Its been a few months now and i really need to use my camera, thats why i got it. It says 'use cassette cleaning' when i try and play something back, would that fix the problem or not? because i dont want to get it if it wont work. I tryed using different tapes so i know thats not the problem from the blue screen, and i took out my battery and that wasent the problem either. Please help. Thank you.
