I know this sounds stupid ...but some wheel nuts are actually left hand threaded ....perhaps you are turning it the wrong way ??

Don't use WD-40...Use Liquid Wrench, let it soak in for a few hours, Add more throughout the 4 hours, every so often, then if you have a impact wrench, give it a try.If that doesn't work, heat up the lug nuts with a good butane torch and try again. Last but not least use a good lug nut wrench, the one that looks like a cross. Slip a long piece of pipe over the wrench, which, depending how long the piece of pipe is will give you the leverage you need to break free the nuts....Don't do the propane method unless the other two options don't work

Good Luck,

Is there an easier way to get you washing machine tub out? I have a Kenmore 700 series

Not too difficult. If you don't own a tub nut removal tool, try using a pipe wrench. You may have to file the scratches off unless you can fashion a copper belt around the nut. Watch the You Tube video posted below. Good luck. The entire removal procedure should take around 20 minutes. And another 15 minutes to reinstall your new tub.

How do you change the belt on a zanussi nexus fl 1082.iv got the top off and tryed to slip my hands down the back of machine to attach the belt to the motor and wheel, but just cant get the last bit on,and...

With the help of someone, tilt the washer forwards towards you, this will give you more room to get your hands inside to fit the belt, it is awkard, but can be done, I have done it this thay on many occasions, otherwise, it entails removing the rear half of the cabinet, not an easy job!!!!!¬.
Good luck.

Vbsr3100dawn washer water leaking between tub hotpoint

Hi, there is a tub seal (WH02X10032) that can be replaced, however, the tub nut generally requires the GE tool to remove. The nut is hex shaped, but is made of a pretty soft alloy so it can break if you use a regular wrench. Once the tub is out, you may also find that you need a new tub nut and split ring.

GE Washer Hub Nut Removal

Spray the nut with PB Blaster. Use a ball peen hammer to break away the remaining thin part of the hub then chisel a trough from the radius up near the nut to the bottom broken edge of the hub. keep repeating this process until the chisel breaks thru and when the trough is deep enough you'll be able to insert the chisel thru the though where it broke thru and pry sideways which will crack the hub into two halves. Tap the two halves out from under the hub nut and you will be happy to find wrench flats on the shaft just below the nut. Two 10 inch adjustable wrenches should work for you now. Set the wrenches so that they are squeezed together while turning the nut in the loosening direction. If you still don't have enough hand strength attach two 3 foot pieces of 2 X 4 to a door hing and position the wrenches between the open "V" created by the 2 X 4 clamp. Good luck!

I need some answers.

You need a spin basket tub block and nut and a whirlpool tub wrench. You can get that at the appliance store when you buy the tub block .On the control panel locate the two phillips screws at the back or front of the control panel at the bottom where the panel meets the base .Back them out far as you can .Pull the control panel forward and tilt it back(im assuming you've unplugged the washer first) you will see a connector that goes to the lid switch unplug it .Next you will see two gold clips (notice how they go) pop them out with a screw driver .Tilt the washer body back toward you standing at the front and walk backwards with it to remove it .Then unsnap the splash ring from the outer tub and remove it.Pull the rinse cup from the agitator under that you will see a cap remove it .Then you will need a 7/16 inch wrench with a long extension to remove the agitator bolt and pull the agitator.then you will see a spanner nut made of
aluminum that's where the wrench comes in remove that nut and pull the spin tub under that will be the tub block tap it off the spin tube and slide the new one on .Replace the spin tub and nut using the spanner wrench tighten the nut tight as you can by hand then hit the wrench handle with a hammer to get it tighter. Then reverse the procedure to reassemble. When you replace the body of the washer look down through the lid opening the front of the washer body goes under the base and the sides go on top along the edges. print theese instructions its really not that hard that will fix it

Loose noisey tub

This is probably a normal GE washer tub issue. Problem is, you have to remove the inner drum to repair it. Before we go through all the instructions, let me know if you want to take this on yourself. Will need a good sized tool chest to do the job (1/4" and 5/16" nut drivers, screwdrivers, hammer, good sized pipe wrench, torks bits, etc). Let me know and we can go from there.

Water leak

If the main seal is leaking there will typically be a splash line around the inside of your washer cabinet. There is a special wrench available for removing the large nut that holds the inner basket in. This nut is aluminum and can be removed with a chissel if it is stuck. remove the inner basket and you will see cone shaped "NUT" that is covered in cork. There is a torx screw on the side of the cone shaped piece. once the screw is removed then the cone shaped nut can be removed using the special wrench and brute force.
