MP3 player not read by computer

Hello

Please do the following,

Get a small piece of lead

Make sure mp3 is off hold(lock)

Insert lead into reset hole,

press so you feel the click.Hold power on switch for 3 secs, maybe 5,

this should do the trick

You can try to plug it into a wall plug using the charger that should have come with the mp3

It does not dupport videos hence the problem only audio

JUST HIT THE RESET BUTTON, ITS BY WHERE YOU PLUG IN THE EAR PHONES. =)

Just a thought, is it possibly locked?
There is a button on the side with a symbol that looks like a padlock.

go to memorexelectronics.com and then to support. You need to upload the current firmware for model MMP8565. I downloaded the firmware program and followed the instructions, it fixed all the problems I was having with the mp3 player. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully, it may get a little tricky if you are not somewhat computer literate. By the way, it will erase everything that is currently on your mp3, but it does work. I couldn't use my player for months, until I found a solution.

batterys dead, these usually last for about 12-18 months.
you can probably buy a replacement, but may have to get the shop to fit.

Use it on the computer with a USB lead.

It sounds like your computer is trying to read your removeable storage...rename them and that should solve your problems..make sure you dont have any printer anything connected when you are renaming them

When you take it off charge you must take a pin and stick it in the reset button, it will turn on
