Question about Intuit QuickBooks Premier: Accountant Edition 2003 (275957) for PC

1 Answer

Printing statements Ok, I print my monthly statements on an original postcard to save on the cost of postage for our small business. We have to raise our rates and I simply wanted to print a message explaining our rate change on the back of the postcard/statement. I can't find how to do that anywhere, or if it's even possible. Help? Thanks, Melissa

I don't think that is a possibility with the program.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How Many Bank Statements Do I Have To Bring In For Business Loan?

In order to get business loan, you must provide your bank statements from the last three months. In case you do not have these, it's suggested that you visit your local bank branch and ask for print outs of your recent transactions from the last three months.

When printing from word the paper jams in printer.. works fine in all other programs

I work at a printing center at my college, sometimes this happens to the students that print. When printing it could be the word document itself: the file could be too big, or the printer could be reading the file wrong. Try saving the word document to a PDF (Print, Print as PDF), then try printing it. That way the printer reads it as a sort of image and not a .doc file, or .wrd file.

I'm using MS Publisher 2007 and pdf creation problem

  1. On the File menu, click Publish as PDF or XPS.
  2. In the File name list, type or select a name for the publication.
  3. In the Save as type list, click PDF.
  4. Next to Optimize for, click Change.
  5. In the Publish Options dialog box, click the optimization in the Specify how this publication will be printed or distributed list that matches the needs of the publication. For example, if the publication will be distributed online and print quality is less important than a small file size, click Minimum size. If the quality of the printing is more important than file size, click High quality printing.
  6. Click Advanced to display the entire dialog box, and select the settings that you need. (Find links to more information on these options in the See Also section.)
  7. Click OK.
  8. In the Save As dialog box, if you want to open the file immediately after saving it, select the Open file after publishing check box. This check box is available only if you have a PDF reader installed on your computer, and if the Commercial Press option is not selected in the Publish Options dialog box.
  9. Click Save.

Peachtree first accounting 2007 income statement has incorrect %

Wow, that's a lotta percent... something is posting incorrectly, and could be for one of two reasons:

1. You could go to Tasks > Maintain > Company and go through the way the company's accounting is set up, but more than likely, it's #2.

2. Someone is posting journal entries and getting their debits & credits mixed up. That's something that unfortunately nobody can help you with unless they're physically there with you going over individual journal entries. I would suggest this: If there was a time EVER when the income statement was correct, GO BACK TO THAT. Then start printing journal entries from that point forward and make sure that all the amounts for each journal entry were correctly categorized as either a debit or a credit. All journal entries must zero out at the bottom. I don't think that Peachtree will even let you save a journal entry unless it's zeroed out. Good luck!!

In the File Name: field type a new name so that you don't save over your original.
Click save.
The new file will open in word 2000.

Statements in QuickBooks

If you do not want your statements to reflect any payments, go to the top of your tool bar, click on Edit, go down to "Preferences", find the "Sales and Customers", go to "Company Preferences", and at the bottom you have the option to "Automaticly apply Payments", make sure that is not checked.

If this helps, please rate me. Thanks, Patty
