Brother CS6000i Computerized Sewing Machine has error after being dropped

Unfortunately these modern computerized machines are not made like military grade laptops. The shock it received likely damaged or dislocated something inside. I would either call Brother's help line or take it in for repair.

I want 2 know d rules,tradition & culture of d

Nothing to do with sewing machines... but there are a couple good books and websites online.

Google search "Norse" "Viking" etc. You should find some great sites. Then do the same at Amazon for books... Read through "peek inside" If available.

FYI... Viking war helmets did not have horns. ;)
They were farmers, shipwrights and blacksmiths. :)

For the last few days my aurora ,430 will go about 20 stitches then stop saying a thread broke. I have changed everything, cleaned everything, turned off and restarted everything, reset everything... you...

Sounds to be that the "check spring" came out if its "flag". Not sure if you want to take it to your repair shop or do it yourself.
Remove side panel/head cover/ end cap.
When threading the machine you thread the check spring when you bring the thread down and up.(sorry I just cant think of a better way to discribe it).
Find the check spring.
There should be a small black plastic part that the check spring is controling, and my guess is that it has came out. This is a comon problem with this machine.
I know this is a horable explanation but this is hard to discribe.
Hope this helps

I do not have a problem with the machine. I am curious about the plate numbers. On an american sewing machine, the plate the fabric feeds through, normal have 1/4, 5/8, etc. On the Euro Pro Denim Model ...

So an American machine has imperial seam guides on the needle plate.

But the Euro Pro would be European and in metric so it has seam guides in metric widths, i.e. millimetres. 10 will be 10 millimetres, or 1 centimetre, 16 mm, 22mm.

A normal seam in metric is 15mm - in your land 5/8", the two are not quite the same but pretty close. This link http://convert.french-property.co.uk/ gives you a converter between the two systems.

A 1/4" is your standard piecing seam for the quilters and this is why many Australian quilters will buy a 1/4" foot so they can guide the fabric along the foot edge to get nice standard seams.

So you could break out some masking tape and a metric/imperial ruler and measure from the needle to the right and put a strip of tape onto your needle plate to mark your 5/8" dimension you are used to. Or use the 16mm seam marking which is very close anyway.

Hope this helps.

The thread keeps breaking I tried to thread the way the one person on here discribed it. I could use a manual model # 158 12321

Could you please verify your machine's model number? Don't use the number on the motor; there should be a small plate on the machine itself. I ask because I can't find a model 158-12321.

Thread continues to jam

Hi, my wife and I just bought a Juki HZL-E80... I love the machine. I had a problem like you discribe...This problem can come from two sources...one the bobin has been installed improperly. ...or been wound incorrectly by not haveing adjusted the Bobbin tension ...I did the tension adjustment with the screwdriver supplied with the machine accessories. Also...this is a biggie...the auto matic needle threader works great...but I discovered that when I preformed this function..that I over looked the thread holder that keeps the thread even with the needle....so, the solution is to thread the needle then be sure to check that the thread coming down from the spool is placed behind the little wire holder above the needle...I hope this helps you ...because it is a wonderful machine.....Bill & Donna Bramble...Caldwell Idaho...
