Turn the mouse over, and remove the 5th central mouse foot. Underneath is a torx screw. Remove the screw, and turn the mouse back over. At the back, there are two dimples. Between them is a seam, side your fingernail or a knife into the seam, and the top surface of the mouse should easily lift off.

My Logitech mouse isnt working. I tried fixing it, cleaning it, the usb is connected properly. It was fine before, then it started being messed up, I found unplugging and replugging in the usb plug thing...

This is actually a good mouse. Since it is optical, there should never be a need to clean it unless you get some dust bunnies or gunk up inside.
You may be experiencing RF interference, probably from a nearby cellphone, WI-FI, or bluetooth device. Make sure you keep other RF sources clear of your laptop and mouse. Try using your keyboard and mouse ten feet (3 meters) away from any other RF devices, then try halving the distance, then halving it again, etc. until you have problems again. Often I see people with laptops and their cell phone right next to it... and yes, this can and will cause problems.

I personally steer away from cordless keyboards and mice since they do require CPU resources to operate- slowing things down some, plus the added problems with RF interference that can be very difficult to predict or prevent.

I can't open the casing :S someone spilt sticky drink on the mouse and now the right mouse button is a little gummy and not always responsive .

unplug the mouse and put it into a container filled with distiled water. move the sticky keys up and down until they work smoothly again. take the device out of the water, put it on the heating and let it dry for a few hours/days. i used a blow-dryer to remove the last drops - but watch that the mouse doesn't get too hot. done - good as new...

My Sidewinder x6 keyboard only seems to go crazy when i play games like crysis warhead. it will suddenly, for no reason, start pushing buttons automatically. Then when i exit the game, and go to microsoft...

Have you checked using the keyboard and mouse from another system?
And what exactly do you mean by "it will suddenly, for no reason, start pushing buttons automatically" and "ometimes the left and right mouse buttons will also start clicking automatically" ?
Do you mean that the buttons themselves are physically moving?
Try this first: Go to device manager. Find the entry for the keyboard. Right click on the entry and choose the option "Properties". Then, click on the button to re-install the driver.
Now do the same for the mouse.
Then play the game(s) again. If the situation remains the same, go to your dealer and ask for them to be replaced.
If, even after the replacement, the situation remains, repair your installation of Win 7. Now check again by using your applications and games. If the situation remains, you have a poltergeist in the house. (Just kidding!)
If all the above does not work, get back to us with what you have done and we'll do our best to help you.

Sticky mouse button

my friend you can open your mouse, first you need to find the screw in your mouse. Then after you find the screw used a screw driver to open it and in order to open you have to remove all screw. then When you open your mouse kindly clean it remove the mouse board and blower it to dry also make the entire mouse dry before you back the mouse from it proper formation.

Thanks

Just purchased a TTX Tech wireless PS3 controller that comes with a USB key fob that connects to one of the front USB ports of my PS3 console. I have successfully synced it to my PS3 only issue I'm having is how drastically different the configuration is from the usual sixaxis controllers. I noticed between the 2 controllers there are 2 clear differences amongst them. 1 being the trigger buttons are not the same and that the circular circumference for the analog sticks are alittle bit different in size. Basically comparing the size of a 25cent coin to a 5cent coin. I'm assuming because of the analog having less of a left to right and or a up and down travelling distance due to the difference of having a smaller analog circle that it could very well change the sensitivity aspects in the game of choice (COD Black ops 2) but I mean the difference between the two controllers is beyond noticeable I've experimented with lowering the sensitivity level from what was set when using the sixaxis controller compared to when using the TTX Tech controller. For example using the sixaxis I'm set to 13 for my sensitivity but when switching to the TTX Tech to become even close to having the same feel and view while using it in comparison to the sixaxis i have had to lower my sensitivity level to an 11 or a 10 instead of the 13 and yet it still is quite noticeably different from my sixaxis controller. Also I've found that the right analog for the TTX Tech is extremely sensitive gently applying upward downward and also side to side pressure on the analog causes a significantly noticeable jump or jolt that seems to never differ in speed regardless as to what has been set for the sensitivity level in game settings. In a nut shell basically I'm asking if anyone else has noticed these things I'm experiencing and if there may be a configuration manual or program that could some how configure the TTX Tech controller to act more as if it were a sixaxis controller in the aspects of the analog sensitivities and responding timing. Yes of course a new controller with a different shape and or feel will make for a "getting used to it" experience which does generally occur after a time period of using said controller more and more often. I am more or less meaning whether or not the smoothness and or the rythem you would have with one controller be more similar with one another. If anyone is a gamer and has gone from using a normal typical original PS3 controller and unfortunately having it be no longer able to be used to play games and switching to the TTX Tech controller immediately afterwards I'm sure will know exactly what I am trying to explain. Appreciate any insight and or knowledge towards my inquiry. Thank you kindly for the assistance and of course take it easy or take it any way you can get it :)
