Walmart or Auto Zone should have the adapter wire connections you need note they may have to order if not in store but if for some strange reason neither have it try orielly auto parts store.
I may not be all the way in park or the safety neutral switch in not working. Did you try and start it in Neutral? Also move your shifter around while the key is engauged and see if it will start.
You can find the wiring color code for the '93 Bravada here.
To avoid cutting or tapping into the vehicle wiring and to make a more professional installation, you may want to consider an aftermarket wiring harness. The one located at this link appears to be the correct one for your vehicle. Scosche, Metra and other make harnesses for most all vehicles. They are usually stocked and sold by local car audio shops, places like Best Buy, and many online retailers such as www.crutchfield.com and www.sonicelectronix.com.
Hope this helps. If it does, please rate as "FixYa". Thanks!
Not without a little adapting. The 1993 has a 4l60e which is electronically controlled and has shift solenoids. If the 83 is an overdrive it is a 700r4 which is the same trans but not electronic. If you put it in the speedo wont work and you will need to install a T.V. cable so the transmission will shift. The 93 won't go forward or backwards?
could be a short. you are going to have retrace power wire ,start at fuse box woke way towards with no power first . take your time try not to get to mad you will find it good luck later
if you have installed a new cd player in there then the propblem could be that your speaker wires and either touching each other or grounding them selfs out.. pull of the cd player and check to make sure all the speaker wires are covered properly and no bare wires are exposed.. if you still have a factory cd player in it then you will probably need to take it to a dealership to have it checked out..
