2004 Excursion/Powerstroke/ On Warm days, ac loses power. I turn the key on and there is no lights on the AC. Then, it comes back on and works again. Sometimes after couple of hours. I am assuming there is an electirc relay or something that is defective and in warm weather, acts up. Does not do it everytime in warm weather. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be the relay, the controller, the temperature sensor in the coolant system, the compressor, the R-134 level in the system, etc. What is SOUNDS like is that you may have a bad ignition switch or trouble with your harness. At any rate, the intermittent nature of it (I'm assuming that when you say "it comes back on and works again" that it works normally during those times) suggests a likely electrical issue.

Good morning my name is Serge on my 2004 Excursion I can turn off the ac/heater fan what is the problem

Okay - you can turn off the ac/heater fan. Congratulations!

If you CAN'T turn it off, if may be a bad switch or a bad controller - have it diagnosed to find out which.

While running down the street the ac works great. When I stop for a stop light the ac quits working and blows warm air. When the light turns green and I start moving again the ac works great.

two things are possible here. is the a/c fan working or not. this would mean you are not getting the cooling while setting still but are while moving. also you could be low on freon charge and this will happen. if this helps please reply and good luck

Good morning my name is Serge on my 2004 Excursion, I can turn off the AC/Heater fan what is the problem

If it is eatc ,the blower speed controller is probably shorted to power ,causing the blower to stay running with the a/c off.
