My Toshiba 51 inch projection tv has two rows of red squares toward the bottom of the screen and the same towards the top of the screen.
The model indicated is a projection set and the question is does it look 3d looking etc or something else?
See attached photos of typical convergence problem which MAY be what you have.

The model indicated also uses a "HYPER BOARD" that fails a lot and causes odd things on the screen--board is NO LONGER AVAILABLE AND the only way to get it fixed is to send it out for rebuild.
Most of the time when the Hyper board fails it starts gradually---problems will be there at cold turn on and after some period of time go away. As time passes the time for it to go away takes longer and longer--but I would suspect it since it processes ALL SIGNAL FROM ALL INPUTS AND THE TUNERS AS WELL--hundreds of their sets had and are as they get older having issues with the Hyper boards.
A convergence problem would have been fixable for a reasonable price. I presume that you see this problem on ALL INPUTS including tuner and AV jacks on back of the set.

No the problem isn't anything like in the pics you sent. The picture is fine except for the rows of red squares that are very visible when the screen has a lot of white in it. I have done the touchfocus and still have the4 problem. Thanks
