Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Unmountable filesystem, as checking bing! might've told you; fsck it from a linux bootdisk or run chkdisk /r from a spare Microsoft bootable volume. Some contextual info on whether you'd changed anything in the BIOS or dusted the works lately is instructive when noting errors, if you want to be advised in a way to avoid repeating the error. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/297185 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315403 (thanks back to Pat McGroin of TomsHardware.com forums, who knows to check free MSDN search....)
