Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. PLAY VIDEOS ON THE MP3 PLAYER
Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses.

If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses.
There are commercial and freeware video converters on the Internet. Use Google to search for Video converters. I found these converters useful, Kate’s Video converter, Any Video converter and CI Video Converter.
I suggest you try some freeware types first and convert a video file, then test this converted video file on your MP3 player.
To copy/download your video files to your MP3 player, connect the USB cable from the MP3 player to the USB port on the computer. Open the video folder on the MP3 player and copy and paste the video file/s from the computer to the video folder on the MP3 player.

What format of a video does ma797 mp3 play?

The player can ONLY play *.AVI files. For other formats, you need to use the converting tool included in the driver CD to convert them,
2) Use the AVI converter (1) Select “Program files”→“AVI Converter”on the Start menu to see the following window.9070010.jpg
2) Click "Add" button to display “Conversion Setting”window.
3) For the “Source File” field, specify the file that you want to convert by clicking the button on the right. For the “Target File Path” field, specify the destination where the converted file is saved. 11218e5.jpg

4) Be sure to select the correct resolution – 128x128 to match your player’s screen, otherwise the conversion may fail.

(5) Set the conversion quality in the Quality field and display mode in the Aspect Ratio filed. cfb0a43.jpg

(6) Click “Save”to save your setting. To convert another file, repeat the steps above. (7) Click “close”button to close the setting window.

My samsung yp-s3 mp3 player wont let me put videos on it

After 2 days of figuring out, I came with the solution today. Most probably your computer is running under windows vista. well emodio doesnt support such to do the transfer. What I did is downloaded a program (free) called "any video converter". All videos have to be converted in WMV extension file, so emodio can recognize and does the conversion to SVI ( the yp-s3 extension). So after you convert the original files into WMV files, take the converted files and add them into emodio. Emodio will convert it into SVI, but the transfer to the MP3 will failed. This is the magic:

close emodio. Leave your MP3 conected. Go to where emodio saves the converted files. When u go to that folder, you will see your files, but you can tell your computer wont be able to play it, as the files icon is just with a white background. Just drag it into the YP-S3 video folder and voila! Disconnect your MP3 from the computer, turn it on and enjoy your videos!!!!!!!!!!
