Water does not fully empty - Kenmore 16522 Built-in Dishwasher

Check for any kinked hoses and check the drain spigot under the sink where the drain hose connects into the u bend. Usually this is where food gets trapped due to the spigot not being drilled out large enough. This then causes a blockage. Also check the non return valve under the filter if you have access to this and make sure the drain pump can turn freely.
