I had the same problem. all you have to do is sync it. if that dosent work then try take out the module and look at the contacts.

This is a problem with the connection port or wire connecting the mic. You need to get the mic replaced.

Check every power output in your room and follow the cables.

You may have family settings on xbox 360 that stops you or the same on ps3, check that out

For the hearing people check your settings on your xbox. and for the router power cycle it to make your nat type open. power cycle means unplug the power wire wait a minute and then plug it back in

it may be that a cable is loose, or the tv is broken. check these

If your Xbox 360 does not have display you need to stop the heat getting to the chips. You can actually do this yourself as many have in this forum using the recommended Xbox 360 Repair guide.

Basically the guide will show you how to stop the heat build up with videos and household items, of course if you are in doubt send it in.

Or of course you can send it in to have it fixed.

Once you stop the heat build up you should be fine.

make sure all the wires in the bak of the xbox are pluged in properly and also make sure the coulered wires are in there correct slot
