It could be the carburetor. If it won't stay running, it's not getting enough fuel. You can take the carb off and buy the carb kit and rebuild it. It's not that hard to do. The needle valves can get dirty and stick so take everything apart and use carb cleaner on it.

Car won't stay running

If the problem only happens when the engine is cold, a bad electric sensor is likely to blame. If the car stalls even when the engine is warm, the cause is likely a faulty electric fuel pump.

Can you jumper the fuel pump and make it start and continue to run ?
Have you checked to see if you are getting spark when it won't start ?
Could be a relay or coil, ignition module, or other component.

Where is the primer ball

It may not have a primer ball. If it does, it would be attached to the carberator. If it starts, but won't stay running, that could mean your carberator needs to be cleaned/serviced.

there are 2 sensor on the carb . you may need to replace both to find out whiche one it is . try this also give it gas while starting and when it starts you will have to keep your foot on the gas a little to keep it running if it runs that way its one of the 2 senors .
