SOURCE: when icemaker is filling water comes out door dispenser
I need the entire model # from the sticker inside the fridge section. My guess is this is the model that has a diode in the wiring harness that directs power to the valves and has gone bad letting power go to both valves. I would look and see if you also have water going into the icemaker when you press for water out of the dispenser. If there is no diode then the water valve is bad. I need the model # so I can look at a wiring diagram. You can look at the wiring to the water valve and see if it has a diode. It is black block and has two wires in one end and one out the other. If so the diode only can be bought and spliced in. Let me know so I can help.

check to make sure there is nothing blocking the water lines and no kinks in the water lines, you did not say if it had an ice maker, and if it is affected.
The frigidaires also has a plastic tube coiled under the back to dispense cold water make sure this tube is not kinked.
Hope this helps
SOURCE: leaking pure source 2 ice and water filter
Hi-
Three things
Hope this help
Open valve completely.
Supply valve must have a 1/4" opening for
water to fully supply ice maker. Many self-piercing valves do not have
this big of an opening. Replace water supply valve with one that has a
1/4" opening.
If equipped with a water filter, replace filter canister or cartridge.
Thanks for using Fixya!

hi there,
could be that the ice maker arm is getting stuck or may have some frost on it. can you supply the complete model # please?
SOURCE: Frigidaire Gallery fridge, 1999. where is the water filter?
What is the model number of the refrigerator. looks like it is in the upper right corner of the fresh food section. If you go to frigidaire.com you can get the owners manual.
Please ensure that the water filter has been changed. If you are not receiving water to the dispenser it may also be a frozen water line and will need the assistance of a Service Specialist.
