Question about John Deere 420,1020,2010,2020,2510,2520 Tractor Float
Check just above the idle fuel mixture screw on the front side of carb and see if the 1/4 inch welch plug blew out of carb.You should see a hole if its blown out of housing,if still there you would barely make out its location,these blow out for 2 reasons,using compressed air to clean carb and a back fire through maniforld.If still have problem I would suspect a split intake manifold near where it goes into block causing an air leak.Both of these are common problems.
