Question about Avaya Partner ACS 308EC (108463001) Expansion Module

I have a avaya system and with two 308 ec modules when unit is powered up the green lights come on then go out all the phone connected to these cards do not work they where working before just powered down system to move outley not not booting back up. any ideas

Unplug all phone cables to the 308 cards, then power up. See if that does anything. Try 1 308 card at a time, as 1 may be bad.

Can you please list the cards in the system?

IE: 308 EC, 206 EC ? Should be int the middle of the cards of your phone system.

Reset acs 308ec to factory settings


Im assuming you mean an ACS 308 processor not the 308ec expansion module. From a display phone at either extension 10 or 11 press feature 00 - left intercom button twice - #98925327

WHERE IS THE BATTERY LOCATED AND WHAT TYPE OF BATTERY DOES IT TAKE


There are 2 AAA batteries at the bottom of the control unit (308 module or 509 module)

Avaya expansion phone 16 module flashing green light.


Reboot the control unit. If you dont get a solid light on the phone 16, power everything off, then power up the phone 30 wait 15 seconds, then any other expansion module, 15 seconds after the last expansion module, power up teh control unit...

Partner ACS turning on and off on it's own


One of the cards is bad in the unit. Assuming you have a 308 processor and 308 ec card and two cards in the system The 308 ec card has a bad or power supply in the card

When this happens look at the cards lights.

This is nothing you can fix yourself without a Avaya technician.

Installed ACS R1 in 5 slot carrier with 4 308EC R3 modules. Processor works but non of the 308EC cards work and no lights on modules.


Try powering off, reseat the processor, and both cards. Power on.

If that doesnt work, remove the last 308 card and power up. if still not work, power off and swap the 2 3-8 cards.

Replacing Partner 308 w/ 509&400EC


You don't need the 400 module for the voicemail. Therefore, you also don't need the 2 slot carrier either.
