Take the printer to a qualified printer technician.
He/she will empty the waste-container,
and "reset" the electronics inside the printer,
to tell the printer that the waste-ink container has been emptied.

Click on start control panel then printers
If your printer is listed right click on it and check to see if says working ok if not try re-installing the driver
Or check that the driver and software is suitable for your OS go to the canon website then support thenput in your printer model and download the latest driver and software for your OS
install it and then plug in your [rinter it should find the new hardware and install the driver

My machine keeps telling me that the Waste Ink is full...can you please tell me how to fix it

Hi

This works on the F30, F60, and F80.
Resetting the Waste Ink Volume Counter
1) Enter SERVICE MODE.---
By pressing Menu-Copy-#
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [OK] key.
7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

Skip step (6) since there is no [OK] key on F30 printers.
Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Change Region On Printer

You will need to contact HP at the support number they provided, tell them that you have a US region printer and need it reset to the UK. The cartridge numbers are different and a US region printer will not accept UK cartridges.

They can do the reset over the phone and there should not be any charge for this. You will need to be at your computer as they will need to have you send some commands to the printer. The reset procedure is not available through the online chat.

This will only need to be done once, after the reset procedure the printer will properly accept the UK cartridges (but no longer accept US cartridges....).
