Oil light mazda

All owners beware that if your oil light flickers and the oil level is correct it can quickly lead to the demise of your engine . Do not be tempted to pass it off as a minor glitch it is often the symptom of a blocked oil pickup strainer ,this is easily cleaned by removing the sump and taking the strainer off the oil pump and wire brushing and cleaning with solvent and compressed air . Any competent garage can carry out this work in about an hour

Remove the mass air flow, and clean it with intake cleaner spray,or mass air flow cleaner spray,if this does not help, reset the system again,by removing the negative battery cable for at least 20 seconds, then put it back on,if this does not help, replace the mass air flow sensor

After replacing the fuel filter on my Mazda Etude, it stuggles to idle and jerkes when I eccelerate. I chose the MPV from your dropdown list as there is no Etudes to choose from

Make sure that you have put it on the right way around. ensure that if you removed the air cleaner to get to the filter ,that you refitted the wiring loom plug to the air flow meter, also that there are no splits in the rubber ducting that runs from air cleaner to throttle body. The latter is the most common cause of your fault.I hope this helps or get back with your further findings. Please remember to rate this answer.

Monitor 2400 E14 error?

E14 is the code you get when the heater has been burning then loses the flame. This can be from lack of fuel or restricted fuel flow, lack of combustion air, dirty flame rod, loose burner mat, warped burner ring, carbon deposits, or over heat caused by dirty fan cage. Check the cage on the back of the heater and clean if necessary. The fuel pump will start to make a loud ticking or thumping sound if it isn't getting any fuel. If it does, you need to check the fuel filter at the barrel if you have one and the fuel strainer in the fuel sump. You will need some rags to catch the kerosene that will come out when you remove the strainer. Make sure the valve at the fuel barrel is shut before cleaning the strainer. Remove the front of the heater (2 screws, one on each side at the bottom). Remove the black grill (3 screw each side, one in the middle). The flame rod is located next to the burner window. It has one wire going to it. Two screws hold it in. Be careful not to damage the gasket, they are delicate. The flame rod goes in then straight down. It may have soot or carbon on it. It can be cleaned with steelwool or fine sandpaper. If this doesn't get you going, contact me at

Losing pressure after about 15 mins pool pump stars really well but then seems to lose pressureleaf catcher before pemp seems to get air in it is this pump or pipes

If the inlet strainer gets air in it, the pump will lose prime. Fill the inlet strainer basket with water, make sure the cover is on air tight. Start the pump and watch the inlet strainer, the amount of air trapped should not increase, if it does, you have a leak somewhere on the piping between the pool and the pump.

We do not know where the air filter valves are

Air filter?

Remove the strainer basket cover ... fill with water ... check the gasket ... replace if questionable ... close the cover and SNUG the top down. Start the pump ... it should run just fine.

If you are sucking air, tighten the strainer basket cover a little.

Still sucking air? You will have to find the air leak. You might plug the leak with plumbers putty.

try using paint thinner! soak for a good while with everything apart and you will need compressed air fro a air compressor capable of 90+ psi and blow everything out! works alot for my guns and they sit sometimes for a year or so! but if you don't have shop air then you might not want to waste your time because this is a key step in the process! good luck man
