Does your imac have the proper bluetooth? If this is a new issue with existing equipment open the bluetooth menu and find devices. You may need a wired mouse to get the proper fix set.

My iMac running 10.6.1 will not recognise Magic Mouse to set up preferences.

You may need the software on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/DL950 unless you have installed it before.

But according to the article on this page you require 10.6.2 (which has not been released yet) to use the magic mouse

I have a brand new I-Mac with Snow Leopard. I just bought a Gear Head KBL8000WRBT keyboard and mouse set. I started with the mouse. The computer recognizes it, but won't pair with it.

Since iMacs are not primarily designed to run with equipment like this (They can run it, but the equipment usually says 'No! I don' know what you are!') Try using the apple Magic mouse. (I'm not sure if they have a W/L keyboard.)

IMac bluetooth mouse won't move cursor

Did you seperately setup the mouse? Even if you have, go into the Bluetooth preferences under System Preferences. Select the mouse & delete it. Setup a "New Bluetooth Device" and select "Mouse." Be sure to press the Reset button for 2-3 seconds to get the mouse into "Discoverable" mode. Your Mac will then setup the mouse automatically.
If this does not work, the Bluetooth chip in the mouse may be defective.

Microsoft wireless laser keyboard 6000 v2.0 keyboard not working

You have to press the button on the receiver that is directly connected to the computer. While doing this, press the connect button both the mouse and the keyboard. I did this and now my keyboard is working, despite the battery indicator turning itself off a few seconds after I install it.

Hope this solves your problem.

Can't click and drag

I suspect you have a wireless mouse. When the batteries get low in an Apple wireless mouse, one of the prime symptoms is that click works but drag doesn't, or vice versa. Replace your batteries.
