Weedeater FL1500 Blower primer bulb and fuel lines

I'm looking thru the part list and just can't seem to find a replacement primer bulb and fuel lines for my Weedeater FL1500. I looked thru the WT-501 part list. Anyway, the question is 'Where can I find them so that I can order/ repair the items'?

SOURCE: I have a Weedeater FL1500 Blower. The fuel line

Find a shop that can do a compression test on the engine. If the compression is not at least 100 psi, the engine will not run. So replacing the fuel lines and filter will be money out the window. It may be time to buy a new one. Spend two to three times what you spent on this unit and you may have something a little better. I like Echo products myself but you have to buy them from a dealer to get a good unit.

SOURCE: My Weedeater FL1500 blower starts set at full

The featherlite is notorious for the intake seals to leak, Thats the one behind the little plastic manifild. This machine vibrates terribly and usually shakes itself to death. JUst test by shaking the carb while its attached to the engine, any movement shows there is a leak. The engines are like people they allways look for the easyiest way, therefore if there is a place to get air, it will pull it from there, causing it to run lean

Check the fuel lines for cracks/breaks. If they are o.k., then:

Youwill need to disassemble the carburetor and spray withcarb.cleaner.Make sure the small screen is free of debris. (Should beable to see daylight through it.)

Use a Den Tek Brush, (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152),to clean the small portals in carb. These portals can become blocked. Reassemble and start.

If the carb. parts are more than 4 years old, you may have to replace them.

If you need further assistance on:
1. Fuel line replacement or
2. Carburetor kit replacement

Just let me know.

Replaced gas tank and primer bulb on my Poulan Leafblower FL1500 and it appears I'm not getting gas into the carb. Any ideas as to what my be the cause?

I assume the new tank came with new fuel lines and filter in it.
First be sure you have all the lines hooked up correctly. There should be a main line from the tank ( has the fuel line on the end of it in the tank) to the fuel pump side of the carb. Then there should be a line leaving the metering side of the carb to the primer bulb then from the primer bulb returning to the tank. When you press the primer bulb you should see it **** the fuel into the carb then from the carb into the primer bulb then back into the tank.
If the fuel lines are all hooked up correctly then you should rebuild the carb.

Replace fuel lines WeedEater FL 1500 Blower

On the FL1500:
  • The Smaller line goes on the Lower inlet tube on the carborater the other end goes to the gas filter inside the gas tank.
  • The Larger line goes on the upper outlet tube on the carborater the other end goes to a fitting that holds this tube from coming out on the gas tank .This tube is only for Air, it helps fill the primer bulb when pushed.
I hope this helps.
Mechs correct me if I have made a mistake.

How to you repalce a fuel line on a weedeater gb1/22v leaf blower

When replacing fuel line, make sure that you have the correct size lines. Depending on the size of your engine, the lines may vary in size. The primer bulb line will sometimes be larger in diameter than the fuel line to the carburetor. The primer bulb line will be the shorter of the two. When replacing the fuel line, make sure you have enough line to go from the bottom of the tank up to the carburetor. Give yourself a couple extra inches to work with. Cut one end at an angle, this makes it easier to feed down through the hole. Continue feeding the line until it comes out of the gas cap hole. Then cut the end of the line square again and attach the fuel filter that goes on the end of the line. Place the filter back in the tank, then adjust the line so that the fuel filter lays comfortably at the bottom of the tank. Then attach the other end of the line, (where you inserted it), to the carburetor, cutting off any extra line you may have.
