Question about Nikon Cameras

Problem transferring photos to computer...........I transfer many photos on a daily basis but since yesterday evening, can't figure out the problem. Camera works fine, USB cables are OK. On a couple occasions(I've tried many times) computer says it does not recognize device. I pulled up Nikon Transfer didn't see anything there. I don't know what to do next. Do you?

Hi.

Please go through the following troubleshooting:

1) Disconnect USB cable and replace camera batteries with fresh ones.
2) Test using a different USB cable. The cable is a standard USB to Mini USB, available in most camera, phone and computer shops.
3) Turn off computer and disconnect power cord for ten minutes. If the computer is a laptop, also remove main battery. By draining power completely you can get rid of electrostatic charges related problems that can affect the USB on computer.
4) Test computer USB using a different device.
5) Test the SD card using a card reader connected to computer. The card will open as new disk.
6) Test the camera using a different SD card.
7) Reinstall Nikon software.

If all that does not work, and the SD card is OK when read with a card reader, then test the camera on a different computer. The camera may be faulty.

Try going through steps from one to seven first.

Regards.

Ginko.

How do I transfer my photos from my Samsung Galaxy camera to my iPad ?

You can transfer the photos from your Samsung Galaxy Camera to your computer with a USB cable. When the photos are on your computer, there are at least 4 methods to copy them to your iPad.

Let's say, you can finish the transfer with the help of iTunes.
 1. Plug iPad into computer with the USB cable. iTunes will automatically launch, if not, you need to manually start it on your computer.
 2. Click the name of the iPad in the left sidebar, and then click "Photos" in the right part of the window.
 3. Click "Sync Photo from" and check "Choose Folder", and then choose the photos from your computer.
 4. Click "Apply" at the right bottom of iTunes window. iTunes will then start syncing the photos from computer to your iPad. If you haven't enabled auto sync of iTunes on your computer, just go to Edit > Preferences > Devices, and uncheck "Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically".
For other transfer methods, please take a look at this guide.

Try downloading an app called Shareit.
When attached to the same WiFi, you can transfer Photos directly from iPad to iPad and even between Windows and Andriod devices. You start Shareit on both devices and send from one and receive on the other.

I need to transfer some photos and videos from my iphone to computer. How do I do this?

First you need to authorize your PC with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so. With your iPhone connected to iTunes and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
Besides what mentioned above, I like to share you a article about transferring files from iPhone to computer, which included transferring iPhone photos and videos to computer/iTunes.
Hopefully this works for all of you like it just worked for me!

Transfering pictures on from a different camera.

Try re-installing the driver software. Ensure that all the electrical contacts on the camera, cables and dock are clean and free from obstruction. If all else fails, USB card readers are cheap, and handy for other things. This is what I use.
