It sounds like your timer has failed but without a make, model and serial number its hard to tell say if you have a mechanical or an electronic timer control.

Water takes almost one hour to fill tub for wash & rinse? water pressure is alright. is there something i can check?

turn the water off to washing machine and unscrew inlet hose, now look at valve inlet to see if blocked with any debris. if so using pair of pliers remove the inlet filter and clean under the tap. if no blockage just replace the inlet valve wil def solve the problem

Gets to final rinse e20 come up wil not empty last rinse water out of the tub i can stop it dip the water out and it will spin out

Hi,
  • Get the washer laying on it's side and using the access hole on the bottom carefully remove the screw clamp holding the large hole of the rubber housing to the tub drain (it will be obvious all other clips are green compression clips).

  • Carefully work the strainer out of this flexible rubber drain housing through the large hole.Clean it out and replace you will be good to go. Also remove all the hoses and check for a buildup of gunk. Hope this will fix your problem.

Thank you !!

Dries very slow lint is clean have to run and run to dry

make sure the outlet tubes are also clean, also rinse off the lint screen with hot water, softener will clog it and not allow propper air flow, the water wil bead up on the screen if this is true, just keep rinsing till water flows freely

My washer will go thru the cycles but wil not drain the wash water. sounds normal but will not **** out the wash water and therefore does not add the rinse water,

It is possible that something just got stuck somewhere in the drain hoses. I'd check for that first.

Also check that the belt is turning the pump properly (most likely it is), and only do so by hand with the washer unplugged.

If it is clear of obstructions you'll need to replace the water pump. part number AP4372886 (made by whirlpool)

Try a rinse aid. JET Dry is one brand. vinegar in the final rinse can help as well. Rinse agents wil do the trick.

Engry problem

HI
Its true you are using power to heat the water....
BUT
all the time its heating through different temperatures, different stains are removed. Also its agitating for all this time. If you put hot water in only it wont wash as long. Also the incoming temperature could be too hot for some fabrics. Also you wil be using your hot water to do all the rinses.
Its up to you, but, zanussi know what they are doing

Hotpoint Ultima WMA66. It goes thru the wash cycle but doesn't drain to go on to rinse/spin. It continues to turn and when the timer run's out it just stop's and is still full of water. Any ideas??

This must be a European model. If it wil not spin and water will not go out it has to be something stuck in the drain pump. You shoud have access through the bottom panel. If you have one remove it you should see drain pump.

Does Not Rinse

Check each temperature during initial wash fill. Set to hot water, is hot water coming out? Set to cold water, is cold water coming out? The rinse cycle is cold only. If cold water is not working machine will just stop at rinse.

If cold water not working:
Disconnect cold water hose from machine. Inspect the filter screen on the cold water connection. DO NOT REMOVE SCREEN. If full of debris, use a spray bottle with a hard spray to remove debris. If unable to remove or cold is still not working, replace valve.
