Question about HP Pavilion a400n (DQ173A#ABA) PC Desktop
I just replaced the hard drive in my HP Pavilion a400n PC, it worked all fine and everything, installed Win7 perfectly, but after a couple of restarts, it stopped booting. I reinstalled Win7, and even switched hard drives back to no avail. It gets past the HP Bios screen, but no further, I get a screen with all these weird symbols and colors....Can someone help?
1. Did you you run the Win 7 simulation prior to upgrading to Win 7? 2. How much RAM does your PC have? I just checked your specifications http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&lang=en&cc=us&product=391284&dlc=en&docname=c00057188
Your computer takes a max of 1GB RAM and the minimum required for Windows 7 is 2 GB. This PC is not fit for Win 7. Sorry.
