Printer isn't printing properly

The printer isn't printing correctly - it just prints very small and on top of each line so totally illegible. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer, but... no luck

Your cartridges are goggled try cleaning them from maintenance menu of your printer

if there is enough ink , print a test page if same problem is there check printer's setting ..
or re-install the printer ,ah sometimes the files are encrypted wen u print it will not be print out properly...

The magenta isn't printing correctly, and the printer keeps telling me to remove tape from the magenta cartridge. There isn't any tape on it. I've tried resetting it several times.


Its sounds as though the printer isnt picking up the cartridges properly, try removing it and cleaning the contacts on both the cartridge and the printer

Black printer ink in Kodak Printer may fail to be recognized by the printer. Most times an error message will be sent indicating that something is wrong with the black print cartridge. Sometimes the printer may accept to print with the black ink, but the printouts may have horizontal lines and very illegible letters. In such a case a manual cleaning of the print head should be carried out. In doing the manual cleaning, one should spray Windex heavily on paper towel and wipe off the surface of the print head.

I can receive faxes but when I send them they are illegible.


make sure glass is totally clean and pad is clean, also could be an issue with your scanner bulb

Hp 3745 desk jet problem


check whether its printing the test page properly directly from the printer not from the pc.for that print

1)just ON the printer
2)press the ON button
3)do not leave the ON button and lift the cover of the printer completely up and down 4times.
4)if you want to change the cartridges which front cover you will lift ,that you have to lift 4times up and down by pressing the ON button ,then leave the ON button the printer test page will come out of the printer .
5)keep the paper in the tray.
6)check that printout if its proper the printer is perfect
7)if the print is improper then the printer is having some problem.
8)also try changing the cartridges and see if its same or better prints comes out.

Printer not printing from computer, print comes out small and illegible looks like some kind odf jabva scrkipt


I've seen this once before. I corrected the problem by deleting all the installed printers and reinstalling the printer with the most recent drivers from the MFG's website.
