Will not post

My MSI 845GLMS-L will not even post. All I get is a prolonged 'beep' (last about 2 sec.) every 2-3 secs.

Yaa this type of beep means your RAM is missing.
to confirm this, just remove your RAM and boot, you will find the same beep.

if this the your case, try thsese:

1...clean the RAN connection point, and insert it again, then try too boot. if not.

2....change the RAM in another slot and try to boot,

if no luck then, change the RAM..

Thanks
Iqbal

PS3 won't reset

are you trying to get to the safe mode menu?...if so unplug for 1 minute...replug...hold power button (beep) 5 secs next beep is 1...next beep is 2 after 5 secs and power off. let go of button...repush power button(hold)...(beep)...then beep again after 5 secs...then 2 fast beeps...let go of power button. it will ask you to connect your USB to your controller then push the PS button on your controller. you should be in the menu for safe mode.(research your options there thru sony and understand what they are first before running them!)

Battery on Samsung Wave does not last long even when the phone is not in use for a day, and does not last the day. Also can go down in a few secs. This happens even with internet off. Help!!!!

Hi there, this is a known issue with samsung wave, that's why samsung released an update that should prolong the battery power. So if you really turned off all the power-hungry apps and services (like internet, wifi and music player) then go for the update. It's a firmware update!

-Install Kies( can be downloaded from samsung.com) -Connect your mobile phone to your PC using the Samsung Mobile Cable -Run Kies, and it will guide you through the installation process

After starting my PC I only hear a peep

If you are getting long and short beeps it is possible that the graphic card on your system is not proper.

Either the graphic card is gone bad or it is not seated properly

Try to open the computer tower, disconnect the Graphic card and then see if it still beeps. If it does not beep after removing the graphic card try to reinstall the card and see if it is beeping. If the computer beeps even after reseating the graphic card then you will have to replace the graphic card.

Packard bell l4 beeps on start up for about 5 sec then works ok would this be memory prob

When your computer starts up it runs a series of test called the POST (Power On Self Test). When test is complete it beeps to let you know if the hardware is OK or if there is a problem. One beep means the hardware passed the test with no problems. If your getting more than one beep you'll have to check with your manufacture to find out what it means. Go to their web site and search "POST error codes", this should give you the information you need.

It does not start, gives one long beep (about 2-3 seconds) silence and beep again

Switching DDR cards solved the problem. I was getting long beeps every 2 seconds. No short beeps. Just one long beep every 2 seconds. Thanks Josh Whitehead.
