Copies from multiple trays

Is there a way to copy a series of pages so that they take paper from different trays? I want to copy a packet so that every two pages is a different color paper.

No, you will have to put your paper like you want( one sheet white and one sheet yellow and so on ) and put it in the same tray !

My CP2025 HP Printer toner is smearing on cardstock when I run multiple copies, but I can't figure out how to change the options for heavier paper. Where do I find it?

The easiest way to set the paper types, if you are connected via network is to access the embedded web server of the printer. simply type the IP (network address) of the printer into the address bar of your browser and a page will open that controls all functions of the printer. Setup you paper types as required. I would suggest that you feed the heavy stock through the manual tray not the standard paper tray.

Why does my printer produce a paper jam when printing from laptop but does not jam when copying

When you order a print from the laptop, it gets the paper from the paper tray. When you copy, the paper has a slightly different path it follows to deliver your printed result. Try to put the document in the tray with the blank pages and see if it also jams! Let me know what you find out!!

When I print a one page document, tray 1 prints on multiple papers at a time. 1 page prints on 5 pages.

If you don't have a manual, you can find one here

My guess is either on the printer or the driver. Skimming the manual, it doesn't seem that you can set the default number of pages printed per sent print job on the printer, but that is something I would look into. This is a nice office printer, perhaps the printer is set to print multiple copies of everything it is sent. You could determine if it is the printer or driver/computer by printing to it from another computer.

If it is the computer, go into the control panel and select the properties for this printer. In there, check if the number of copies is improperly set to 5. This would happen for every print job sent from this system.

Does it print 5 copies of documents sent from different programs (i.e. Web Page, Word, Excel)? Quite possibly, one time you set it to print 5 copies and that application retained that as default. In that application, rather than clicking "print" click "printer setup" and look through the settings to see if it is requesting multiple copies.

I am 95% sure one of these three solutions will solve your problem.

How do I use my printer as a duplex for making copies on both sides? Thanks Roxanne

The printer does not support duplex coping. If you want to do manual duplex copying, you can make a copy of the first page.
Then reinsert the paper upside down in the manual tray or paper tray, fil the page on the document feeder and make the back copy.

How do you copy a packet with multiple pages and print multiple copies of it while keeping each printed packet together and in order just like the original?

Unless you have an office type printer with a collator, then you can't with a inexpensive inkjet printer.
You have to print the same document over and over again.
Otherwise you print the number of copies you require and sort the pages later.

Copier stops after 35 copies when using finisher

This is due to the output tray you sre using only having a small capapcity sensor what you should do is set it to come out from the finisher unit to the lower tray as this holds more sheets you can check this by looking at the output tray and when it asks you to remove paper see if the top pages are resting on the paper sensor in the tray. good luck A

Canon Image Class D320 does not copy entire page. New toner has been installed.

Has anyone changed the paper size in the paper tray to another size by accident? Have you tried the manual feed tray? If that copies the whole image then the problem is with the paper size input of the paper tray.

Paper feed

Have you tried a different brand of paper?. When choosing the paper try and select one which the sheets can slide easily over each other. I had loads of problems with multiple feeds and paper jams with a cheap paper. I then changed to a heavier 90gsm all in one paper from staples and have had no more problems since.(and i just chuck the paper in straight from the packet with no fanning etc)
