Replace the spark plug, clean the air filter and fill the tank with new fuel at the correct fuel oil ratio. Had the same problem last year. Tried to cheat with year old gas.

Take them off and put new ones on. Cut the old ones if they are hardened. Make sure you change the fuel filter too.

Sounds like you will need to clean your carburetor.
Be sure to use compressed air to blow out all the fuel and air passages.
Sometimes you can get by with priming the carburetor a few times, and letting it run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of the jets, but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
If the mower/weedeater is over a couple years old, then I also recommend that you buy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, You will first seat the jet screws and count the number of turns it takes to seat the jets from their original position.
That way when you go to put the jets back in, you know how many turns they were in/out.

Hi glen11234...

Normally the big line will be the line the fuel filter is connected to inside of the tank.
The smaller of the two lines is the return to the fuel tank from the carburetor after it is pumped thru the carburetor by the primer bulb.

Have a craftsman 32cc craftsman model #358791060 I have changed gas lines and is hooked up properly but when I prime the bulb the gas pours out of the carb. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Although you think you go it connect correctly, it sounds like you got the primer connected backwards.

Here is the basic layout for a remote primer system.

Dean Hi there, is it possible that you have got a blockage in the fuel line or maybe just put one of the gaskets back wrong. It needs everything airtight to suck the fuel through.

How to but back the gas line from a craftsman

There are 3 separate lines. Usually one is a bit smaller than the others. One line goes from the primer bulb to the tank..Usually the small one. Another goes from the tank to the carb...usually an inline filter in this line. There are 2 connections on the carburator...connect to the lower one, if you have 2 different sizes of tubing, this will be the larger of the 2. The 3rd line goes from the primer bulb to the upper carb connection...this is also a small line (if your model has 2 sizes of tubing). Good luck.

Repairing fuel line on craftsman 32cc weed trimmer.

Cut the end of the line at a sharp angle. Spray WD-40 on the line and fuel tank hole. Slowly screw the line in the tank far enough so you can connect the fuel filter if you are replacing that line. If not just push the line into the tank if you have a two line system. Remember on the fuel primer, the long tip has the line going to the tank, and the short tip has the fuel line going to the carb.

Craftsman 32cc weed eater wont start. Push in the primer bulb and it does not refill, stays stuck in!

Check the fuel lines for cracks/breaks. If they are o.k., then:

You willneed to disassemble the carburetor and spray with carb.cleaner. Makesure the small screen is free of debris.(Should be able to see daylightthrough it.)

Use a Den Tek Brush, (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152),to clean the small portals in carb. These portals can become blocked. Reassemble and start.

If the carb. parts are more than 4 years old, you may have to replace them.

If you need further assistance, just let me know.
