Question about Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder
It sounds as if the software is 'dropping frames'
Video consists of 25 frames per second. When capturing video, the computer has to read and compress each frame in real time. If your processor is not fast enough, it cannot keep up and will drop frames.
The problem is it only drops the video frames, not the audio frames, so over time the picture and sound go out of sync.
Make sure your computer meets the minimum specs. for the software. Also close any other programs that are running as this will lighten the load on your processor. If you've got loads of icons in the lower right-hand corner of your screen (these are all progrmas running in the background) close as many of these as possible as well.
