    I HAVE VIA SOUND CARD AND IT HAS STOPPED WORKING . I HAVE CHECKED THE DRIVERS AND THEY SEEM OK. BUT I CANNOT GET ANT SOUND AT ALL. WHEN I TRY TO PLAY MUSIC A MESSAGE APPEARS SAYING I HAVE NO SOUND CARD OR IT IS NOT WORKING . I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING

Your audio chipset should be AC97 VT8233a, in that case download driver here: VIA AC97 codecs incorporated into VT8233, VT8233A, VT8233C, VT8235 and VT8237/R South Bridges
