Question about Sirius Sportster 4 SP4-TK1 Satellite Radio Receiver with Car Kit
Hello: I have 2 Sportsters with car kits. No problems up until yesterday
when the unit in my wife's car blew the fuse in the 12V adapter. I replaced it with the fuse from my adapter and it worked for about 3 minutes before blowing that fuse. I tested the 12v source in her car and there's no problem with other products (cell phone chargers, etc.)
Is her adapter bad, or should I just try a bigger fuse than the 2A250V one that came with the adapters? Thanks!
Try the other adapter and see if it works without blowing the fuse. If that fuse blows also, something is wrong with the radio.

I had the same issue. This is what Sirius calls a "Frozen Unit". There is no bypass, unfortunately, and it must be returned.
I had mine for 3 days and it froze on the Sirius Logo screen when booting up. If you bought the unit from Sirius, you must contact their E-Commerce department. If bought from a retailer, take it back to the store.
