Hello, i have problem with my Iphone 3g 8gb. The problem is that, that after a few opening it stoped to work. It was not first time when i was opening it because wanted to make camera working well, but...

I would strongly suggest to bring it to the nearest apple store, but try these combinations as well.

1. Make sure your iPhone is connected to its charger for about 20 minutes, see if there's any reaction. The battery may be causing the problem.
2. If that's not the case, keep the phone connected to the charger, press the power button for 10 seconds, then press the home button without letting go of the power button for another 10 seconds.
3. Release the power button, and it should automatically start in DFU mode.

If this does not work, repeat all the steps above now with your USB connected to the laptop, and try restoring it with iTunes.

I cant start my iPhone, and I did not sfiched off last night, for some reson did by it self.

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond

  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a 10 seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

More resets:

Try This:
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
3. Replace Sim Card
4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.

Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.

Try doing a master reset by holding down the Home button (the button at the bottom with the square), and the power button at the top of the phone down at the same time until the power off command comes on, but keep holding until you see the apple logo come on then let go. This is a master reset. Then try charging it. let me know how that goes.

Iphone will not sync with itunes

Download the latest iTunes to your computer and reset the iPhone. Then re-sync it.

To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.

I downloaded updates on my iPhone 3G, did a reset as required after downloading updates and now my iPhone wont charge, I press the on button top right even hold it for 10sec with and without home button...

Held the home button and power button for 10sec, released the power button after apple icon appeared and continued to hold the home button until the USB cable icon appeared (this action prepares the iPhone for Factory reset), now connect iPhone to iTunes and follow the prompts! Note: when you restore your iPhone everything will be deleted to Factory Settings and you will only be able to retrieve your settings to the most recent back up you have stored, any data not stored in iTunes, example: (SMS, appointments in Calender), will be lost!

My Iphone went dead, and i was charging it through the PC....but it didnt charge...so I reset it (home + on/off) but it just went blank and the low battery sign came on again! a

Try an a/c charger, many times the usb ports don;t put out enough to give it a good charge.
If it's a 3G you have to have a charger that works on it.

My Iphone's screen won't turn on but still vibrates

I had the same problem just now with my iPhone 3G. It froze for like an hour and a half! I heard calls come in but wasn't able to answer because the screen wouldnt come up. I pressed the top clicker button and the main button for about 10 seconds and the apple logo came up (finallyyy). It took about another minute and then the screen came back up and prompted me for my passcode. I hope this can help you all!
