Hi!
Thanks for your question
1. If this router was given to you by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) there's a good chance there should be a sticker with WPA on it somewhere underneath router.
2. If this router was bought by you and you can not find WPA there's only one way to go. Somewhere at the back of the router you should find a reset button. You can press it with sharp pen or paper clip. This will bring your router to default settings.
Unfortunately most of the time this will mean that your network will be left with no security. I will be more then happy to get you through the process of securing your network, but please check if you have sticker on router first. Good Luck

    1. Connect your router to your computer using ethernet cable.

    2. Type 198.162.1.1 in address box in your browser

    3. Type in your username and password to your router

    4. Go to wireless tab and choose security

Now you should be able to access your password and change it. Remember to save changes. You will need to reconnect all your devices. Do not hesitate to ask more questions. I and Fixya team will be more then happy to answer them. Good Luck

You set WPA yourself by connecting via a cable and logging into the router and setting the security settings

Don't no the wpa number

Your wpa number is the password to get on to your wireless router. Many times it is the same as the wep number. Read and look at the diagrams on the following link. It should help you a lot.

WAP/WEP password not working

These are the two options for your Router. Don't forget to save your settings

WPA is an upgrade to the WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) standard for securing your wireless network. If you would like to secure your wireless network using WPA, you will need the following:

  • WPA enabled on your Dell TrueMobile 2300 Wireless Broadband Router

  • WPA support for your wireless clients. If you are using a Dell TrueMobile wireless client, you can check for the availability of WPA enabled software update for your wireless client at http://support.dell.com.

  1. Log into the Web configuration of your router at http://my.router (or the default address http://192.168.2.1)
  2. Click on Basic Settings.
  3. Click on Wireless Security.
  4. Click on the Enable Wireless Security checkbox.
  5. Select either WEP or WPA in the Network Authentication list.

To setup WPA
  1. Enter your pre-shared key. This key must match the key that is used by each wireless client computer associated to your router.
  2. Choose a key format. This can be hexadecimal digits (0-9, A-F) or ASCII characters (any key on the keyboard).
  3. WPA Group Rekey Interval specifies how often the key rotates or changes.
  4. WPA Encryption allows you to select 1 of 2 possible encryption methods (TKIP and AES) - choose one that your wireless clients supports.
  5. Click NEXT, then Save and Restart to apply the changes.
  6. Setup the WPA on your wireless clients. Refer to the documentation that accompanied your wireless clients, or your wireless clients on-line help system for information on how to setup WPA.

It wont set up to wifi on my DS I don't know what to do?

First of all, turn on your DSi. Then navigate to the wrench which is "System Settings."
Select "Internet" and then select "Connection Settings."
Search for the connection your best choice and will display all possible networks in the area. You do this by selecting "search for an access point." You may choose from wireless networks that are unsecured and do not require a password, or networks that are secure with WEP and do require a password.
If you have WPA secured connection simply select "change security settings" to enter a WPA key.
You should be connected.
BE AWARE, some secure connections are not allowed. You can change these on your routers local ip to either WEP or WPA.

We don't know how to connect the router

Theencryption key secures your data from unauthorized access. The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key. The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings. To connect to your wireless router, configure the router'swireless settings ie SSID, plus the WPAor WPA2 encryption key and then configure wireless cards in the laptops and orcomputers with these router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktopcomputers can communicate with your wireless router.

I cannot find my wpa code fore my ps3.. i have a ubee router.. what number do i type in?

If your PS3 is asking for a WEP/WPA key, you need to input the password for your wireless internet. If you don't know what it is, you'll need to hold down the reset button on your router for 30 seconds, and this will reset your router to manufacturer status. You'll then need to find the documentation or the website of your router's manufacture to find out the default code on your router to configure it properly.

Error code 51330

Hello murz42
This error code is generated when the Wii console is unable to connect to the access point.
First of all, check that your router is compatible with the Wii www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/support/wii_support_5251_8071.html?id=8072
Are you using WEP or WPA security on your router? Log into your router using the default IP (if you don´t know this, or how to obtain it, consult your routers manual).
If you are using 64-bit encryption, the WEP key is a 10-character key consisting of numbers or the letters A - F. If you are using 128-bit encryption, it will consist of 26 characters. The WEP key must be hexadecimal. This means that it consists of the numbers 0-9, the letters A - F. It cannot consist of any special signs or letters. If you are using WPA, the Wii is compatible with the following types: - WPA - PSK (TKIP) - WPA - PSK (AES) - WPA2 - PSK (AES)
Next, check if your router is using MAC filtering. You still need to still be logged into your router. Find the section for MAC filtering, which is usually located under a "security" tab or something similar. If the MAC filtering is "on" or "enabled", enter the Wii´s MAC address to the list of approved MAC addresses. To find this, go to the Wii Channel menu, select "Wii settings" - "Internet" - "Console Settings". The MAC address is displayed on the first line.
Hope this helps. If you require any further help, please don´t hesitate to ask.
Good luck
