Hello, Felippe.

Unfortunately, email messages deleted from a Hotmail account cannot be retrieved. In Hotmail, your messages are stored on the Microsoft server (computer), so once they are deleted, they are gone, unlike other message systems, such as Outlook, which store messages on your computer.

Not what you wanted to hear, but hope it helps.

Hello,

follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the "Deleted" option in the left margin of your Hotmail window. This will open your Deleted folder, which contains all deleted emails.
  2. Browse through the emails on the first page of your Deleted folder. If it is not there, continue browsing by clicking the right arrow at the bottom right of the emails. The right arrow should be located after the words "Page 1." Continue browsing until you find the desired email.
  3. When you locate the desired email, click on the box to the email's left. A check mark should appear in the box. Continue checking as many emails as you would like to recover.
  4. Click on "Move to," which is located on a horizontal bar across the top of the window. A drop-down box should appear.
  5. Click on "Inbox." The selected email(s) should be redirected back to your Inbox. To go to your Inbox and see the emails, click on "Inbox" in the right margin.
Good luck.

I can't received my email using window 10 livemail, need help

No you haven't. :>)

LiveMail is now dead as they used a system called DeltaSynch.

You have to set up brand new accounts using a system called IMAP. Once your mail accounts with Hotmail or MSN are set up, your mail will load. Once you have it all, check the mail and folders in both accounts and then delete the original accounts.

Hotmail IMAP Settings To configure your Hotmail with an email client that supports IMAP and SMTP, you can use the following settings in your email app.
Incoming (IMAP) Server
  • Server address: imap-mail.outlook.com
  • Port: 993
  • Encrypted Connection: SSL
Outgoing (SMTP) Server
  • Server address: smtp-mail.outlook.com
  • Port: 25 (or 587 if 25 is blocked)
  • Authentication: Yes
  • Encrypted Connection: TLS
User name: Your full Hotmail email address, including '@hotmail.com'.
Password: Your Hotmail account password
Normally you should set up your Hotmail account via IMAP protocol. Basically IMAP sync your Hotmail account among different devices and computers, not only the Inbox folder. Also any operation you performed one a device will be synced to the Hotmail server and other devices or mail clients connected to your Hotmail account. POP3 however simply download your emails from your Inbox folder offline. You can them manage emails on your local computer. However under some circumstances, you may also find POP3 mail actually works better than IMAP email. Check out more details here: What are POP3, IMAP and their pros and cons?

How do I retrieve my hotmail account which I deleted off my iPad but want it back now?

Just add it again, there is really nothing to it, just like the first time.
Got to settings> Mail, Accounts, Calendars>Add Account and input the information needed to activate the same hotmail that you had before. Make sure to have the username and password.

Check the "deleted" folder , if not there, post back and there is something else you can try.

I recently deleted some important e-mails from my deleted hotmail (last 3 months) that I really do need to retreive. Thank You

It depends on how your hotmail was setup on your iPad. If it was setup as POP3 connection, then you can still retrieve your email using a broswer to log into Hotmail.

If it was setup as IMAP then whatever you delete from your iPad will be delete on Hotmails server as well. Double check your Trash folder to see if its still in there. If that has been deleted, then there is no way to get your mail back.
