Canot connect to 192.168.0.50 on a DAP-2695 wireless access point

It is extremely unclear from this what you are trying to achieve and what machine you are on. If the machine you are on is a desktop connected straight to the access point it may not have a wireless adaptor so you may see nothing like that in network connections. Cant comment on setting a static address without understanding why you are bothering with that and not just picking up a DHCP address from the router.

Canon MG6100 wont print and displays "A

Have you tried a "wired" connection to a different computer?
If the problem persists, then the printer itself is the problem.

Have you tried a "wireless" connection from a different computer?
This presumes that the wireless-configuration on the printer is correct,
and that the printer is "talking" to your wireless router.

Login to the router's web-interface, and check the status of all "wireless" connections,
to ensure that the printer has a valid wireless connection to the router.

I have a Compaq notebook, and it just stopped connecting to the local wireless network overnight. All the other computers connect normally, but mine won't. I just says it was unable to connect. I tried...

The reason for this problem could be a number of things, as such there are a number of ways to fix it.
If your laptop has a small physical switch that enables/disables wireless, check that it is switched into the On position.
Do a wireless scan (Method could vary depending on software installed) and check if any Wireless Access Points show up. If there aren't any, it could be a problem with hardware or drivers. If you see your Access point in the list, then you could try going into its configuration and then re-typing in all the settings for Passwords and other Authentication and making sure they are correct. If you're not sure what the settings should be, then talk with whoever manages the network. If you manage the network, then check the settings on another computer with working wireless.

talk to your wireless manager about your problem. once my laptop didn't receive connection, and it took them a week to fix the problem and get the internet back.
you can also try unplugging the cable ot restarting the computer.

I have T41 and was able to connect to wireless internate with no Issue. I was trying to update the Access connection to newer version but because of that now I am not able to get IP on the wireless...

The T40 series model has several different types of wireless. It is most likely the wrong wireless card driver was installed. Download all the wireless card drivers and install one at a time until you get the right driver.

Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows XP or Vista device drivers for your model computer, Use this link :-
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true
You can download the various drivers and then you click on and run the various driver files, they will then unzip and expand into a folder on C:\drivers Then install the various drivers from this folder.

Do you just want to add the WinVista compute to the wireless network?

You can try this steps

1. Make sure that the wireless switch is on, on the WinVista laptop.
2. At the bottom right handside of your screen where you have the time look for the two computer icon, right click it and go to connect to a network. On the screen that will pop-up you will see the wireless networks around you. Just select your network and connect to it.

Just reply to this post in case you will still have a problem.

Hooking linksys to gigafast

There are some question's that should probably be asked before we begin. Generally a wireless adapter or network card is present in a computer to allow it to access a wireless router which is connected to an internet service provider (generally a dsl connection through a phone line or a cable modem from your cable provider. Your request seems to be to get a computer to talk to a wireless router to talk to a wireless router to talk to your internet service provider (dsl or cable). I will assume after reading this that you probably have or will get a wireless adapter for the computer to talk to one or both of the wireless routers you appear to have. Wiring two wireless routers in the same house may be useful if the home is large or the wireless routers operate on different bands (a, b, g or frequencies) and you have different computers that require the different bands. however both wireless routers are in my experience connected to each other using a wire. Once we clarify the above we can probably address the connectivity issues for the devices you require.
