Why doesnt my realplayer play all videos

It doesn't support all video formats because you have not downloaded the necessary Audio-Video Codecs for realplayer !
Go to its website and buy the codecs !
Or
Try using KM Player. It's completely FREE ! It's way better and comes with all the codecs ! It will even try to play the file if it is in another format like pdf if you had accidentally changed the extension of the file :)
Download KM Player From Here http://www.kmplayer.com/

Uninstall realplayer. restart windows. then try to access the file you want to play and see if it prompts you to re-install RealPlayer.

I cant get realplayer to pop up on youtube for downloading

Please make sure you are using a compatible browser, Firefox is the one I use. Once the video is playing, 'hover' your mouse directly over the playing flash video. The RealPlayer download button should appear. If you continue to have problems, I recommend using Video DownloadHelper instead with Firefox. To me, it is just more reliable.

Everytime i go on realplayer and i put in the dvd the sound doesnt come on.But when im on the internet it works.

Are you using RealPlayer to play DVD or just realplayer formats?

If its for realplayer formats you will need to go on their website and download the newest sound files / and or download their new version.

If its for DVD, I would recommend VLC. Google it, its a free program with most usable formats, and plays DVDs. There are other things about DVDs on laptops but its too long to go into. So to make it short, you can only play a limited amount of DVD on your laptop/desktop before it won't work. On VLC you wont have that problem.

Invalid file

Because Micorsofts media player has a limited amount of file types that it will play. An option is to use some other player such as realplayer. Another option is to obtain software that will convert one file type to another.. I am guessing that you have the most update  media player. If not , download in through windows update.

Playback of audio files does not resume where I left off when powering back on

I have an e260. I use it for audiobooks a lot. I just press pause (centre top of the dial), and the track will resume from there next time (unless I go back to the main menu for radio of course.)

LiteOn LVC - 9016G dvd recorder Problem.

throw it in the trash- I got 1 from costco, liked it so much, bought another a week later. First one started giving me the "invalid" msg, 2nd one did the same 1 wk later, so I guess they're programmed to do so after so many hours after being plugged in. Too bad, cuz it was the easiest to use of 5 previous models I tried. Their easyguide onscreen menu was the greatest, plus the status of time, pause & recording indicator, which you could turn on or off as needed, were very useful.
A real shame to have to throw in the trash. Won't ever buy another thing from them.
