Hi keith_barnet. If you can login to your router 192.168.1.1 (default ip). Verify under wireless - broadcast SSID option is enable. (that´s the default setting). If you do have that enable, then you have a problem with the router because even with NO antennas you get some kind of signal.
If hope this helps. Please do not forget to rate and provide positive feedback for our fast free support today. Thank you :D

Wifi password reset

Once you log into your router click on the wireless link.
On the bottom of the wireless page click security.
Here you can change your wifi security.
Once done just click apply and the that's it.

Note: Once you change the wifi security settings you will have to reconfigure your wireless devices with the new wifi security.

Sony ericsson w890 wifi not working

Check weather any other device can detect wifi signal of your modem router. If it cannot detect the signal then it may be the complaint of your modem roter wifi.
If the other device can detect wifi of your modem router then back up the data of your phone and reset it. It will work fine.
Thank you

I can connect to the router on both of my computers and my ps3 but i cant connect to ther internet. also if i plug my modem into the router and then plug my computer into the router i cant connect that...

I think you will need to reconfigure the router.
You can access the Internet when you connect the computer to the modem. That means the modem is working fine.
Connect the modem to the Internet port on the router and computer to port 1 on the router. Press and hold the reset button on the rotuer for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait for 30 seconds. Power cycle the router and reconfigure it.
Follow this link to reconfigure the router.

Does not work. yesterday it was fine, and today it wont connect.

Try to connect directly with your cable modem to see if the internet signal is OK.
If yes, try to reconfigure the modem again. First of all, connect a cable from your PC to your router using one of the computer ports (not the cable modem port). Then, in your web browser, type the address http://192.168.0.1, which should be the router address. You'll be prompted to enter the user (which is "admin"); leave the passed field blank (unless someone else have configured it differently). Now, run the wizard and you should be done. Additional configuration steps involve creation of WPA/WEP security in your WIFI network (usually, very relevant).
Hope it helps!

Hi there i have just changed from ADSL cable in put to ADSL2 wi-fi but my wi-fi needs updating is this correct ? if so how do i do this

Just changing or replacing the ADSL Cable ie if it is the Network cable (RJ45) will not affect the configurations of the router in your WIFI modem. Update is not necessary.

Replacing your WIFI modem set, you have to reconfigure the wireless modem router settings to get acess to your internet.

Read the setup instructions manuals if you are replacing your WIFI set.

Hope it helps.

The router signal show's up on my wsireless device, but does not send an internet signal.

Reset and reconfigure the router for it to work properly with your modem... It may not be your router too , it may be something to do with your mode too.. Call ISP first and ask modem to be resetted or make some changes on it.

My linksys WRT150N router won't recieve internet signal from my dsl modem. The router sends out a signal to my lap top, but no internet connection can be made.

Try connecting your laptop directly to the dsl modem to make sure that it is working correctly.
If the dsl modem is working correctly then:
1. Turn off the power on the router and dsl modem.
2. After about 2 minutes, turn on the dsl modem.
3. Wait another 2 minutes, then turn on the router.

Occasionally you need to do this to get them back in synch. If this doesn't work you may need to use the software utility to reconfigure the router.

If the router is not transmitting signal the best thing to do here to correct the problem is to reset and and reconfigure the router, to reset it press and hold the reset button of the router for 10 seconds while power is ON and then after that power it OFF for 10 seconds and reconfigure it back.......

You dont have to reconfigure if all you did was change to dsl.

Unplug dsl modem. Unplug router. Turn off computer.

Wait at least 30 seconds, plug in dsl modem.

Wait at least 2 minutes, plug in router.

Reboot computer. All should be OK. If not, reply back, and I'll helo you further.
