Question about LG 47SL80 LCD TV
I have a 47'' LG LCD tv that I bought new anlmost 3 months ago. Yesterday my landlord was checking the voltage in the outlets with a multi-meter and now my tv won't turn on. Normally when you press the power button it lights up a series of lights at the bottom and the clicks on. Now the lights at the bottom light up in sequence and the its like it powers down again. It also makes this clicking noise and the screen flashes grey for a second every once in a while. If there are any electricans out there that may know what the problem is, I'd appreciate any advice. I'm really wondering if the tv was damaged by my landlord or if its just a faulty tv.
Also as soon as I plug the tv in (right now its not plugged into the outlet) its automatically starts trying to power up even if I don't press the power button and it just tries to turn on over and over again, hence why its unplugged.
Take ur waurenty repair the tv is faulty. The LCD inverter board is shorted.Need it replaced, not lighting ur LCD backlight screen to get the picture.
