Unplug the dryer, open the door, remove the two phillips screws that hold the door on,the screws are in the middle of the hidges, look at the other side and remove the two screws that are there, pull off the front panel grabbing it at the top where the top screws were and pull forward the bottom of panel is on clips, just slide the panel up off the clips, now spin the drum until the baffle that you need to repair is in the lower right hand corner and you can get to it there.if the holes are to big for the screws add a washer to stop the screws from falling through the holes, sometimes the screws get ripped through the holes making the holes to big for the screw heads and a washer needs to be added, let me know how you make out

Worked, thanks. Had to use crazy glue, as the plastic part that the screw goes into, ripped off the inside of the wing. So far it has held up. Might eventually have to replace the wing, or crazy glue it again in the future. Thanks.

glad i could help and good job repairing it,you want to watch out with using glue or something like that, the dryer gets hot and if the glue has an oder to it when it gets hot it could get into your clothes but i think you'll be fine with the crazy glue.

Inside the drum, there are three "panels" attached to to the wall of the drum. I guess they are used to tumble the clothes so the heat is evenly exchanged? One of the panels broke off. ...

It wont hurt anything to use it like that. The screws probably fell outside the drum when they came loose. You can look at the other two to see how they are fastened if you want to put it back on.

I have a Kenmore 70 Series gas dryer, model 76712691. The dryer has 3 plastic ''tumblers'' inside the dryer, to help the clothes tumble. Two of the tumblers have fallen off inside, leaving big holes inside...

Pull the dryer away from the wall, there is no bottom on the dryer, so the screws should be on the floor.
You can then pop the lid up from the front and fold it back. When you do, you will see the drum. Roll the drum around until you see the holes and reattach the tumblers.
You can also access the drum from below. Tip the dryer on its back and you can see the drum from the bottom.
Good luck.

Inside paddle fell off

Depending on the type of door the dryer has, is how you approach the access of these dryers. Mostly though you yank out the filter first.Remove the 2 screws in the filter housing on top. Then use a putty knife to pop the top.Rotate the drum around and reach inside the drum. Re-attach that baffle.
