Dear Kenb,
Company has does not launch its product all over world. So the product available in USA may not be available in Europe but it may be available in Japan or Asia.....
So best way is to visit local dealer or shop... to find out which models are available at your place. And they are in better position to give you more option than any other. And they will also give you information about forthcoming models....
So I think, visiting local dealers or shop is the best way. So you can have wide range of product for selection...

See if these help:

Music files will not play
If ripped from a CD, It's possible that the copy protection in Windows Media Player was checked. This would limit the times a file can be played or transferred. Verify the audio quality is no lower than 128 Kbps when ripping.

Reset your MP3 player
Press the reset hole with a thin object such as a paper clip. If your player is freezing during a specific file, the file(s) could be corrupt and should be deleted from and re-transferred to your device.

  • Format your MP3 player
  • Upgrade or reinstall your firmware

If your device doesn't display "Charging" or "USB connected" while connected to the PC, the battery may be completely drained (or faulty) and it may take a few minutes before the PC detects the player and begins to charge it. If after ten minutes the player isn't detected, try using another USB port on the PC.

  • The battery may be exhausted and will require replacement.

My new mp3 player (2gig) wont play music anymore. i turn it on, and on the screen it says "music" when i press "m" it says "initializing" and then goes back to saying...

You may try restoring your mp3 player to factory settings and then loading the music back. Make sure you have a back up of your files before restoring though.

Sansa m240 player plays maybe one song with new batteries

Mine's a clip, but same problem. When I plugged it in, we compared it against my sisters, and a file was missing. See if anyone you know has the same player, and try to transfer the file if this is the same problem as mine

MP3 Sansa m250: Crashes on certain files

Firmware upgrade needed

Either the device is bad, the pc port is bad, or the software is faulty. Try connecting to different usb port, then a usb port on a different pc with a compatible os. If still not recognized, then there is physical damage to player.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware.
Wizard.
