Re: I can't run any games!
Thanks for a question
Computer games have specified minimum requirements of hardware that you need to have to run game properly. The "other computer" may have better specifications and therefore let the game run. Please check this subject and don't hesitate to ask more if you need further assistance. Good Luck

Many users while playing a game on there computer seem to notice that it slows down at random times throughout game-play, This common on most computer as users seem to forget about other applications running on there computer.
If your CPU is not fast enough and you are running many applications while your game is running you will notice the game isn't responding as fast as it should, The best way to solve this is disable all programs which you are not using including MSN messenger and any browser or File sharing/Torrent Application.
Also make sure your anti-virus is configured not to scan automatically otherwise it may start scanning while you are in game and cause dramatic lag, Most anti-virus's will provide an gamers profile which you can activate to prevent certain anti-virus features while you are playing your game.
This is the same phone I have. It has an outdated processor, so essentially what happens is when something takes a lot of processor, like games, its response will slow down, and it'll detect touches a little late. So it seems to be "responding on its own" but really it's responding to something it thinks you did a couple seconds ago. Honestly, with this phone, there is nothing you can do except reduce background programs running. If that doesn't work, you will have to find a different game to play that doesn't use too much of the processor until you can get an updated phone.
is it compatible? Right click on the game icon and select properties. Click on the compatibility tab and tick the box in the compatibility mode section. Select xp and click apply.Start the game and hopefully it works.
Go to Start menu lower left corner and click on Help and Support In the Search Help Box type old Games
Then click on hyperlink to Make older Programs run in this version of Windows
Then click to open the Program Compatibility trouble shooter and follow the directions or (a quicker way that worked on mine is to go to the program itself once installed and right click on it, then select properties, then click on the compatibility tab
Power Light Shuts Off
If the power shuts off during game play (even as much as 30 minutes after the system is turned on), then turns off and won't turn back on or the fan isn't working, the system needs repair.
Power Light Flashes
If the power light flashes once when power button is pressed, then turns off and won't turn back on, the system needs repair
Older programs will sometimes not work with Vista. This is likely the reason that Lego Island 2 (a 2001 game) will work a opposed to Lego Island (a 1997 game). There are a few things that you can try, though:
Right click the 'play game' icon and select 'Properties'
Click the 'Compatibility' tab at the top of the window
Click the 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' box and
select Windows XP or Windows 98/Window ME (you can try another later if one doesn't
Make sure that the 'Run this program as an administrator' box is selected.
Click 'OK' and close the window
Give the icon the good ol' double click and see if she works. There's no guarantees that this will work with Vista since it is an older program, but this is where I would start.
reduce or lower down the resolution settings of your screen. On desktop right click select properties and under the settings tab reduce your resolution to a lower setting like 600*800 and click on Ok an OK again and retry playing your game
If it fails try restoring your computer to a previous date when you were still able to play the games. Start > all programs > accessories > systems tools > systems restore and click on the new window restore to and selct aday you remember you played the game well and resore to it.
